trick to accelerate faster?

when you push the pedal to the metal theres a little platics thing right? if i take that out wouldn't it be better? cause when i put it at WOT i feel as though that plastic thing is robbing me of power.... am i right?

lol, no that won't do anything. :laugh:

The Throttle cable is calibrated for the amount of pedal travel and butterfly travel. If when floored the butterfly valve is fully opened, then removing the plastic stop won't help.

What will help is making sure your floor mat isn't under your pedals. :laugh: You wouldn't believe how often I see this at work, Thick ass rubber mats blocking gas and clutch from being fully depressed. *banghead*

lol nope not a joke! i just bough a 240 for winter! really clean really happy about it..... but still wouldn't trade it for my sol! just love that car too much! :bigup:
 
j'aurais jamais cru qu'une question comme ca serait posée un jour... a premiere vue la question a vraiment l'air conne... mais quand on y pense, cétait une bonne question... javais pas pensé au rubber mats.

lol serieux je suis pas 2 de pik mais tu sais jamais!!! des petits truc de rien pour augmenter la perfo! :p et serieusement quand je met le pied au tapis je sens que le plastic bloque....
 
Le meilleur truc que je peux te donner, c'est apprend ton char, mets pas ta pedale a gaz dans le fond d'une shot, va y avec le feeling du torque, au meme titre que ta clutch vs pedale a gaz.

mais tu penses tu que si je change mes moteurs de whipper pour des moteurs "type R" ca va changer qqchose ??? :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh: :laugh:

j'm'excuse de déroger au sujet du thread, mais ca fait longtemps que je voulais la ploguer celle la.
 
tu devrais essayer la dynamite, tu vas voir tu vas aller encore plus vite qu'avec les ti bouttes de plastiques.

et en passant si cest du stopper que tu parle, en le devissant tout ce que tu vas arriver a faire cest casser ton cable car cest en general un stopper, tu peux shimmer le throttle cable seulement si le papillon du tb nouvrent pas parfaitement a 90 degres.
