Just to clarify for others.
Is it the Racing Beat muffler made for the MSP, or the aftermarket "real" Mazdaspeed?
Also, if it's the RB, it will not fit Protege5's, but the aftermarket one has 2 model numbers, one for the P5 and the other for the sedan. Specify wich one.

its from the sedan, guess it wont fit the 5

Because there are 2 types of Mazdaspeed mufflers.

This one is the OEM one for the Mazdaspeed Protegé, made by Racing Beat.

Then there is the real Mazdaspeed axle back. You can buy this part at your dealer. Better sound and a bit less restrictive.
