question about protege 2000 and rear disc conversion

I have a collegue @ work who has a protege 2000 SE
it has rear drums

he wants to know how much to setup the car with 4 disc breaks
they don't have to be new, but functional

I don't know mazda, that's why I'm posting

is this a hard thing to setup ? hours of labour involved ? is there someone selling this type of kit ? willing to install for my buddy @ work ?

I'm guessing you could use disk break from a 01-03 ES edition (which has 4 wheels disk) or even the mazdaspeed breaks, as far as I know it's not that hard to do the conversion especially if you get mazda parts from other protégés since the 99-00 editions are pretty much the same as the 01-03 editions. I don't know where you could do that tough...just ask the mazda dealer !
