Post your results and dyno graph + set-up if you dont mather .Tel me if you run race or street GAS and witch speed shop build the engine....Thanks for info

Since no one is posting (Jeez, is All motor this unpopular?)

I might have some results this spring. I am expecting 240 to 250 whp and 240 to 250 wtq with my aftermarket exhaust system, but on a totally stock motor with no tuning.

Jclaw, really curious to see your result on dragstrip and dyno

my baseline runs with a 100% bone stock vq35de(350z) where barely above 240rwhp on the L-sport dynapack.

i'll run a fully built SOHC neon engine ported head by TK Race on mark 2 racing fuel, it should show up on the dyno in one month
it should be on the 185-195 whp range on the mopar pcm(cause of the 7600 rpm limiter)
and with ITB's plus some more rev(8500-8700) with a standalone it should end up netting 205+ WHP but it would be more realistic in the 210 whp range

1995 Chevy F-body LT1
-Comp XE218/230 dur @ 0.050, .528-.544 lift on a 112 LSA
-Comp Pro Magnum 1.6 roller rockers & Comp springs
-Forged pistons (.030 over), decked block (approx 11:1 CR)
-Stock crank & rods on Clevite77 bearings
-K&N cold air intake
-PCM tunning by Bryan Herter @ PCMFORLESS.COM
-Flowtech Afterburner headers & 2.5" exhaust.

-Stock unported heads, stock 48mm throttle body.

323 WHP & 367 WTQ on pump gas

The cool thing is that the car will weight ~2860 without the spare (+ me=160 lbs). That's very light for 3.5L of displacement... not to mention it has 16-pound 15-inch wheels instead of heavy 17s or 18s like the new cars, and a 5-speed tranny with a flywheel half the weight of the 6-speed flywheel (less drivetrain loss here).

4th gen maximas are very light compared to the new ones (3250 and 3450, respectively). 2860 is with no real weight reduction except emptying the trunk. Some 4th gen maxima owners have gotten their car's weight around 2600-2700 with full interior (I'm not there yet though). Plus, those V6's are torqy as hell, 300 crank torque is doable with bolt ons and a totally stock engine.
