Anyway, they are good gears, I have 3 of my friends who are using them (2 Chevy 12 Bolt, 1 Ford 8.8) and they love them, but like Tkr said, the key is to get it installed correctly.....some people will tell you it takes 1 hour to do it, don't trust them...

Motiive gear makes them for frppp!

I thought it was richmond also but lately they switched its motive gear now who makes them something about richmond being too expensive on their bid with ford, 269.99$ motive I got richmond on sale this week their install kit is a must on sale 35$ and their gears are usually 299.99$ also the boys are right it takes time to do the job right, make sure you check the lash between the gears. On sale all their chevy stuff as well. All gms 7.5s and 8.5s on sale at 224.99$ all ratios all ford 9.00 inch on sale as well 224.99$ the 8.8s are not on sale I know that sucks!

install kits include cover gasket crush sleeve, or pinion pre load shims pinion seal pinion shims kits starting at 30$ max of 50$

Complete kits on sale at 139.99$ these include all of the above plus new bolts washers thread locker compound and leaning brush.

let me know!

My friend can do them in less than 2 hours in a 8.8, he has been doing them for like 10+ years and is a Master Ford Tech. I like FRPP gears plus I can get them really cheap, around $135 US new. While you are at it add a extra clutch on each side, makrs it work much better. My friend pulled 1.42 60fts on a STOCK traction loc diff with just extra clutches installed.
