it's the same as 1989-1994 240sx coupe...the hatch is called a 180sx in japan, cause it originaly came with a 1.8L engine

ok well srswap.com has some info on the sr20det swap and this is a quote from the site

"Fitment:
Fits into US 240SX S13 chassis with no modifications. Uses the host chassis driveshaft and differential. Uses the standard downpipe and catalytic converter with the 240SX catback exhaust. 89-90 chassis will need power steering lines and reservoir from 91-94 chassis."

so that would be the same as a canadian 240sx hatch right?
 
cause: the 1989 ant 1990 came with the sohc ka24e so it makes it a little bit harder for the sr20det swap..
 
You can swap in an SR in any year 240, starting from 89 till 98.
We've already done 89's and up. The biggest difference is the wiring Harness. It's more difficult on a 89-90. 91-94 is still a lot of work but more straight forward. If you have any other questions, contact Automotion(514)369-8808, we specialize in the SR swaps and are responsible for most of them in Montreal. I have the Red 98 and my partner has the Silver 95, need I say more!!!!!

hehe , btw j'avais trouve une Coupe sur hebdo dans les 5000$ 1992 , le jour ou je suis retourner sur Hebdo pour te la montrer elle etais plus la :( , mais elle etait repeinturer en orange :thumbsdow , i'm still on the look out :D
