My dad has strange clunking noise coming from the rear of his car. When you hit the brakes when you reakes it goes clunk and when you release it goes clunk. Some one said it was the rear shock top bearing plates are shot but these were replaced last year. The rear brake drum and shoes were changed last year too and I opened them up to see if anything was loose. So far my visual inspection inside the drums is good and nothing is loose.
What else could it be?
