ford focus relay question

hey all i have a 2001 ford focus. My question is how do u take out the relays that are in the auxilary fuse box in the engine bay? I tried pulling on them but it wouldnt budge, is there tool or technic for it?

that is exactly what i tried but it feels that something is holding the relay down!!!
 
Nope. I work on them every day. They are so hard that sometimes the pastic cover will come off the relay mechanism itself. Try prying up at the base of the relay with a mini screwdriver. Just don't short any pins while doing so.
