ok fine then, what should i do to make my 1995 ESI faster???? and where can i find parts, the only reason why im looking for a 1st gen is because someone did it already that i know. swapped a TSI engine into his 1995 ESI. He says that if you were to compare the 1g to the 2g the 1st gen is a lot stronger. true or not?

the 1st gen is better by a long shot

DSM's are awesome cars i suggest reading up as much as you can about them, cause you'll need to know how to diagnose daily problems
but once you know how to work with them, they are fun as hell.

THEN you could swap... i wouldnt suggest it to an amateur. I wouldnt, thats for sure.
