what version is it? what does it say under the serial number (barcode) under the box? under 120V it should say "A" "B" or nothing.

nothing = earliest versions. a=1.5 b=1.51.
it's not 100% for sure though, SOME 1.51's are in "a" packages, and some 1.00's are in a packadges, but 99% of the time they are 1, 1.5 and 1.51+

right. the psp's running 1.5 have exploits availible to run homebrew on them. 1.51 have minr leaks, and the new 2.0 firmware will screw everyone over 
I actually want 2 psp's one with 1.5- and one with 2.0, so i can hack the browser they put on it
