J'ai été au drag Dimanche passé a Pont-Rouge faire quelque run. La premiere a été de 11.00 @ 138, suivi de 11.2 @ 137 et 10.89@137.

J'y suis retourné ce soir, il fesait vraiment froid mais la track collais pas trop. J'ai pas vraiment faite de clean run.

1: Two step trop bas, alors 11.5 @ 139
2: La meilleurs 10.64@140.93
3: Manquer la 3e
4: Piping qui déconnecte
5: Fil a d'injecteur qui se déconnecte.


Bref j'aurais aimé faire plus de belle passe, mais j'ai eu quelque badluck. Tout ca dans mon char de rue, Eagle Talon AWD 92, 3050lbs ;)

30lbs de boost, timing de base, tuning SAFC et MafTranslator. Gros du setup: PTE SCM61, stroker 2.3L wiseco+eagle, HKS cam, valve 1mm over, intake magnus, manifold SBR, intercooler SBR, fidanza flywheel, ACT 2600lbs PP, Clutch stock, etc etc etc etc etc etc etc......

ouais il faudra descendre un tit peut si jme trompe pas pascal forget roule 10.6 avec sa civic qui se sert tou les jour

Wow toute une bombe que tu as!! Bravo pour ton nouveau meilleur temps.
J'aimerais avoir un tour dans un char du genre un jour, sa doit être trippant l'accélération!!

J'ai dit ''rapide'' (fastest) donc le MPH, et je parlais bien sur de compact et de char de rue, je sais tres bien qu'il a des v8 de ''rue'' qui rentre 8 et 9.

Oui mais AL, toi c'est encore mieux car ton setup tu peut rentrer le meme temps sur une lumiere, tandis que les super V8 aurait besoin de leur slick et toi non*tu*

Donc oui ya des V8 de 8 sec de rue..mais sans slick ca rentre quoi :laugh:

Street pour moi c'est:

- Pneus DOT
- Gaz de pompe (94 max) = + ou - 16 lbs de boost
- Rouler sans chauffer
- Idle en bas de 1000 tours
- etc....


Mais c'est quand meme une maudite belle machine ta Talon....
Street pour moi ses peux importe combien ta de boost ou autre chose. Ses le fait que tu arrive sur la piste, attend en ligne et sort tjrs le mm temps sans rien maudifier ou changer de choses. Sa ses de rue.

Engine:

All exhaust must flow through functioning muffler(s); must exit behind rear tires.

Fuel:
Pump or racing gasoline only.

Fuel System:
Fuel cell permitted. If fuel cell is used, original tank must be removed. OEM tank may be modified for sump.

Nitrous Oxide:
Commercially available nitrous oxide permitted, including for supercharged and turbocharged engines. Nitrous bottle(s) in driver compartment must be equipped with a relief valve and vented outside of driver's compartment. Bottle(s) must be stamped with a DOT 1,800-pound rating and permanently mounted (no hose clamps or tie wraps). Hoses from bottle(s) to solenoid must be high-pressure steel-braided or NHRA-accepted hoses. Commercially available, thermostatically controlled, blanket-type warmer accepted. Any other external heating of bottle(s) prohibited.

Supercharger, Turbocharger:
Permitted. Liquid intercoolers limited to water and/or ice ONLY. Screw-type supercharger prohibited.

Driveline:
Driveshaft loop required on all AWD and RWD cars running 10.99 seconds or quicker.

Flywheel Shield:
All manual-transmission-equipped RWD cars running 11.99 seconds or faster must have a flywheel shield labeled as meeting minimum SFI specification 6.1. Applications for which an SFI spec 6.1 flywheel shield is not available may use an SFI spec 6.1 flywheel shield from another application, attached to a motor plate that is attached to the engine block at all available bolt holes, or a fabricated shield made of 1/4-inch-thick steel, surrounding the bell housing 360 degrees, extending 1 inch forward and 1 inch rearward of the rotating clutch assembly. Shield must be securely attached to frame or frame structure; may be multi-piece. All FWD or transverse mounted applications using a clutch must be equipped with a flywheel shield made of 1/4-inch-minimumthickness steel plate. Shield must surround the bell housing completely except for area of flywheel shield adjacent to differential and axle shaft. Shield may be multi-piece with pieces bolted together using minimum 3/8-inch-diameter Grade 5 or M10 class 8.8 bolts; may be attached to engine and/or bell housing.

Rear End:
Rear end swap permitted, but must use original mounting points and suspension. If IRS is replaced with a straight axle, a 100-pound penalty will be assessed.

Brakes:
Four-wheel hydraulic brakes mandatory.

Steering:
Must retain full, original OEM steering gear.

Suspension: front:
Upper mounting point for strut assemblies must be in the factory location. Adjustable caster/camber pillowball mounts are permitted. Lower control arm may be strengthened provided factory mounting points to chassis are maintained. Lower mounting point for strut assembly may be modified for improved caster or camber. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars and sway bars. Traction bars/devices permitted; must be bolt on ONLY. Final decision rests with NCRA Technical Services.

Suspension, rear:
FWD vehicles - Factory independent rear suspension (IRS) must maintain independent configuration. Strut tower braces, lower tie bars and sway bars are permitted. Rear suspension must maintain minimum shock travel of 1 inch. All rear suspensions must use at least one working shock absorber per wheel. Original suspension mandatory. Traction bars/devices permitted, must be bolt on ONLY, and may not extend or mount forward of original control-arm mounting point. Control arms may be strengthened or replaced, provided all original mounting points are retained. Final decision rests with NCRA Technical Services.

Wheelie Bars:
Prohibited.

Chassis:
OEM chassis, with complete OEM floor pan and firewall, mandatory. Floorpan may be modified for fuel cell installation. Note: Floor may be trimmed amount sufficient for fuel cell installation; excessive trimming prohibited. Wheel tubs, back-half conversions, tube chassis, etc. prohibited. RWD vehicles weighing over 2,000 pounds and running 10.99 or quicker with IRS may replace rear end with solid housing, provided original rear wheel tubs and quarterpanel openings are maintained and will be assessed a 100-pound penalty. FWD must retain FWD configuration, rear-drive conversions prohibited. Engine must be located in OEM location for body used. NHRA Spec Roll bar mandatory in any car running 11.99 or quicker or 135 mph or faster. Non-OEM tubing in front of firewall prohibited except to tie shock towers to roll cage. Roll cage in cars running 9.99 or quicker must be inspected every three years by NHRA and have serialized sticker affixed to roll cage before participation.

Ground Clearance:
Minimum 3 inches from front of car to 12 inches behind centerline of front axle, 2 inches for remainder of car (except for exhaust more than 12 inches behind centerline of front axle).

Parachute:
Mandatory on any car running 150 mph or faster.

Wheelbase:
Must retain original wheelbase for body used, plus or minus 1 inch. Maximum wheelbase variation from left to right is 1 inch.

Tires:
Must be D.O.T. radial tire with maximum tread width of 10.5 inches and maximum height of 28 inches, determined by actual measurement or manufacturer's designation on sidewall. Retreads prohibited.

Wheels:
Must be automotive-type wheels suitable for street or racing use. Minimum wheel size 13 inches unless originally equipped with smaller wheels and vehicle is equipped with original engine. Wheel studs must be threaded into hex portion of lug nut a distance at least equal to the diameter of the stud.

Interior:
Front seats, door panels and door innards, dash, headliner and carpet must remain in place. Back seat and all interior trim from driver's seat back can be removed. Windows and door switches must work as designed by manufacturer. Cars will be re-inspected on the return road and any cars found missing seats or other components shall be DQ'd.

Body:
Any FWD, 4-cylinder automobile, import or domestic, permitted.RWD, AWD and 6- cylinder FWD must be of import manufacture or domestic-labeled, joint-manufactured platform. (Examples are Chrysler Conquest, Dodge Colt, Dodge Stealth, Eagle Talon, Ford Probe, Plymouth Laser.) Mild customizing, body kits and chopped roofs permitted, but must retain full-bodied appearance, with minimum 2 functional doors. Doors must open and close from inside and outside. Windshield and all rollup windows must remain OEM safety glass and rollup mechanism must be functional. Rear Hatch Glass (in HB cars) can Body Con’t: be lexan. Lightweight body panels limited to hood. Aftermarket body kits permitted, but full street-legal appearance must be maintained.

Firewall:
OEM firewall mandatory.

Tire:
D.O.T. approved- RADIAL STREET TIRE. No Bias-Ply tires allowed.

Floor:
OEM floorpan, front to rear.

Street Equipment:
Complete headlight and taillight assemblies (all) mandatory; must be operative.

Batteries:
Batteries must be securely mounted; may not be located in driver compartment unless sealed off per general regulations.

Ignition System:
Aftermarket crank triggers, two step rev limiters, ignition amplifiers, spark computers or dynamically adjustable engine management systems, data loggers are allowed. No traction control.

Master Cutoff:
Mandatory on any car running 9.99 or quicker, or 135 mph or faster, or on any car where battery is relocated to trunk area of vehicle.

Computer:
Standalone computer allowed. Chipping Allowed

Fire Extinguisher System:
Permitted; must be securely mounted.

Tow Vehicles:
Prohibited.Race car must make it to the lanes, and return under it's own Power.

Warm ups:
It is mandatory that a driver be seated in the car in the normal driving position anytime the engine is running, unless coupler or driveline is removed from vehicle. The practice of transbrake testing, converter stalls, line-loc testing, and/or transmission warming is prohibited in all classes, in all areas of the event except in starting line approach areas beyond staging, or unless vehicle is on jackstands. Non-compliance is grounds for disqualification.

Credentials:
All drivers must have valid provincial driver's license or NHRA
competition license. NHRA competition license mandatory for
driver of any car running 9.99 or quicker. Drivers must provided valid vehicle permit.

Driver Restraint System:
Three-inch-wide driver restraint system labeled as meeting SFI spec 16.1 mandatory. System includes crotch strap and must be updated at two-year intervals from date of manufacture.

Helmet:
Helmet meeting 95, K98, 2000, SFI 31.1A, 31.2A, 41.1A, or 41.2A Specs.

Neck Collar:
Mandatory on driver of any car running 9.99 seconds or quicker or 135 mph or faster

Juste pour te dire:

1- Il roule des tires DOT
2-Dans la rue il roule a 94 , mais pas 30 psi , surement 20-22
3-ou tu prend ca que street driven c'est + - 16psi, lolll
3.1- Pk ca chaufferais , ta tu une explication?
4- C,est sur que sont idle est en bas de 1000tour, meme avec cest cam
5-Arrete de pleurer la, meme si sa te fait surement suer qu'il fasse tout ca avec un petit 4 cyl:D

ca reste qu il a raison , je me demande combien course sur le quart de mile il peut faire dans une journee sans que rien casse moi je dis 10 -12 max comparativement a un 8 qui peut faire 400 run daffiller petit con
