difference

the version 7 has avcs as well. the only difference is the twin scroll and headers/upipe that go with it. the result = wider powerband

v8 is jdm. usdm sti engine is different.

so started going through the wiring harness today.... it is pretty straigt forward.. but one tedious task.
 
man, i need to get one of those in my car.

i thought the twin scroll was only on the spec-C cars?

all version 8 have the twinn scroll as well.
i expect this wiring to take me about 7-8 hours.... but it will all be worth it!

Great to see you finally bit the bullet nick....but all Ver.8 DO NOT have twin scroll.... I have removed turbos from a few of them to port and polish and there is no divorced uppipe or turbo inlet. Maybe all JDM Ver.8 are...but I know that the USDM or CDN models are not.

thats what im talking about. all jdm v8 are twin scroll.

im not 100% sure but i dont even think usdm sti engines are considered a v8. its very different in many aspects.
