civic swap h22a besoin d'information

Salut tout le monde, je voudrais avoir des infos sur un swap H22A dans un civic hatchback 5G...Car les moteurs de prelude sont moin cher que GSR et personne ne crache sur les 160 livre de torque et les 200hp du prelude...je suis pret à sacrifier la tenu de route pour cette performance...Est-ce que c'est vrai que le kit de support coute 900$ ? Devrait-je prendre la transmision a cable de la prelude? Reste t'il encore assez de place pour mettre turbo+intercooler par la suite? Dans le fond je veux toute savoir se que vous savez sur se swap...inconvéniant, avantage....

All I can say is before you make the swap find good drive shaft because when Luca from Sticky put an H22 in his 98 Civic all he did was break them. Plus it is a serious install so don't even think about putting it in without the proper engine mounts, which are made for this transplant. After the summer the motor in Luca's was leaning to one side. I vote for a GS-R, they weight less and your car will handle better.

The gsr swap is easier but the H22 more rewarding..
just turbo the gsr and you will be very happy...

H22 is a very difficult swap and the parts list is long and expensive..

Parlez a tout les shops pour avoir ue bonne idee de ce que tu veut. Je vote pour le GSR a cause du handling et la facilite de la swap.

Leurs supports sont garanti à vie, et je crois qu'avec eux, la swap ne sera pas plus dure qu'un gsr....Mais je ne sais pas combien ils vendent ca....

do you know that h22 move backward compaired to other honda's engine that move foward that could be a firewall clearence problem.much heavyer much beefer not recommended

The H22A engine leans in the wrong direction
Civic engines have blocks that lean forward while the H22A block leans backwards, towards the firewall. Even though custom fabrication will mount engine, it's still not suitable for this chassis.
Fabrication issues
Custom fabrication is required to get the H22 engine to fit. The stock motor mounts have to be removed and new mounts relocated, making this an expensive job. Modern day cars are designed from the ground up as an integrated structure, and this includes the engine. Moving mounts around causes the structural characteristics to change. Furthermore, it also increases the chance of a screwup happening.
Chronic understeer
The heavy load up front will cause tons of understeer. Furthermore, the added power up front will cause the front end to lose traction too easily. What you have is a car that goes fast, only in a straight line.

Oui bon, j'ai fait le swap dans celle à Lucas alors je peut te dire que cétait beaucoup de travail.Il y a deux ans, il n'y avait aucun support de moteur sur le marché et j'ai dùe tout les faires sur mesure, car le moteur n'est pas fait pour aller là du tout.
D'autre difficultés comme la transmission qui avait le système ATTS, c'est à dire un genre de traction controle assisté electroniquement.Il y a eu beaucoup de modifs pour installer cela en place.
En plus de l'électricité, mais je peut te dire qu'une fois la job fini cétait comme originale.
Les cardans était un autre problème, il faut faire des cardans sur mesure.
Aujourd'hui ce swap serait plus facile car il existe des supports moteur déja conçus pour cette appliquation.
Alors si je peux te donner un conseil, oui ça se fait, mais l'option GSR demeure la meilleure rapport puissance investissement.
