Supercharger 4 a max 2000

Would like to know if anyone has put a supercharger on a max and if they regret evry puting it

A friend of mine has one installed on his 98 Maxima (Stillen ofcourse). He loves it, though it makes a wierd sound (high pitched kinda thing), but I think this is common to most Vortech designs. It added about 70-75HP D ) to the flywheel I think.

He installed it himself, and said that he didn't have to drill or cut anything for it to fit, though it did cost him something like $5000 eek: ), but that was a few years ago, the price should have fallen a bit now.

He ordered it from a shop. But like I said, that was quite a few years ago when the SC just came out, you could prob easily get it cheaper now. Though it is still listed at Stillen as close to $4000 US. He has some other mods on the car and has a best run of 13.9. A 2000 Max stock would probably run 15.5-15.7,

Sounds good just gotta get the money and im gonna get one
