Someone told me that the 325 is the 328 because of the 330. It doesn't make sense to me to buy a 325 and get a 2.8L engine. Anybody know what the hell is up?

No they dont make 328 anymore they replaced it with the 330
which is 3.0 littre
they dont make the 323 anymore they changed it to the 325
which is 2.5 litte
the cheapest beemer now is the 320

In europe they have a little 1.6l in the serie 3,the 316i, its a stupid motor!

stupid motor?? it doesnt know what it own firing order is? insted of 1,3,4,2 its 1,2,3,4? im lost, can a motor actually be stupid? i have a cool motor, it smokes up!! :smokin:

the 318 was replaced by the 320
the 323 was replaced by the 325 and the 328 was replaced bu the 330. this move was done because of mercedes abolishing the 4 cylinder from the C class (except for the coupe) and bmw needed to up the power also to stay competitive.

the reason also that bmw droped the 4 is that all there engines are based on the 6. I have a 4 and i can say it s no good.

bmw's legendary engine has always been the inline 6. they should stick to the six cuz thats what they know how to do well. i find though 4 cylinder and german dont mix except in some cases like VW.

yea, even the new 320 is an I6... 2.2 Litres i think. BMW has really screwed up their naming convention lately.

I dont know i just saw the new models that came out
and what the hell is happening witht he lights in the back
i hope there selling clear lights for this car
