most people were right when they said holley paid fast and the furious to say nos and not nitrous. ive been noticing since the movie came out everywhere theres advertisement for now what is written in big? AS SEEN IN THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS. just wanted to point this out to everyone. the saddest part is its working because most people i know dont call it nitrous they call it nos!
 
nitrous oxide is the scientific term... nos is the slang term... just a lot easier... i call it nos cause im lazy!
 
NOS isn't a slang term...it's just the most popular nitrous system for car applications!

Just like calling in-line skates... Rollerblades.

its like: Un frigidaire instead of réfrigérateur. Frigidaire is a name brand but we still say frigidaire.
 
most movies are sponsered by companys,for instance ace ventura 1,was sponsered by pepsi!

ive seen alot of advertisements of the sort. dunkin donuts had one in some movie i dont remember which but the box was HUGE and the name could be seen so perfectly!
 
mei twas colgate , i really forgot what movie , but i remember it so well , the scene cut and all of a sudden you see this huge COLGATE sign , lol , hilarious , and in cast away the UPS thingy ! lol !
 
NOS, juice, the bottle, laughing gas, angel spit, the winners drink or whatever else you want to call it....
 
Yeah I know what you mean, In this months SCC magazine they have an ad which takes up the whole page promoting the FastAndTheFurious movie on DVD and Video. There's even a sweepstakes... It's called "The gotta have NOS" sweepstakes...lame! <img src=http://www.montrealracing.com/Misc/thumbdown.gif ALT="::down">
 
For every DVD copy of F&F you buy, you get a free NOS sticker. omg, like montreal can get any ricyer.
