Hey everyone,

I have a 1992 Sunbird GT (automatic) and I am looking for parts for the car but I can't seem to find any. :dunno: If anyone knows where I can get the following products tell me:

-Cold Air Intake: (Preferably the best one avalible for my car.)
-Headers.
-Shift Kit.
-Transmission Oil Cooler.
-Timing Advance.
-Spark Plugs and Wires: (Which is the best?)
-Racing Chip: (Is it worth it?)
-Toyo FZ4 195-215/55-65 15

Also where can I get my compression tested and my injectors cleaned?

Also if you know where I can get these parts and services can you also tell me how much money each one will cost and a realistic HP gain for each? I know it is asking a lot but thanks everyone!

Here are my answers...

-Cold Air Intake: (Preferably the best one avalible for my car.)
I would build this if I were you. Go to home depot and get some flexible aluminum duct, or black rubber duct, and plumb it up into your engine compartment. In general, a 10 degree F air temp drop provides 1 horsepower. I have seen on my car how a cold air system dropped air temps by 30-40 degrees F.

-Headers.
This might be hard to find. Try Hooker or Edelbrock. Check a JCWhitney catalog. On your car, maybe 5-15 hp. Maybe a few hundred bucks.

-Shift Kit.
Call Art Carr Transmission. He may have one but I doubt it. This might save you a tenth in the qtr. Typically under $100 US.

-Transmission Oil Cooler.
Any tranny cooler will do. JCWhitney. Under a $100 US.

-Timing Advance.
In other words a new chip. Maybe 5-15 hp on your car. Could be a couple of hundred bucks if its not common.

-Spark Plugs and Wires: (Which is the best?)
Any will do fine. Your plugs and wires don't see a lot of stress because your car isn't boosted. Try Moroso wires. I like AC Delco plugs for my car. Under $100.

-Racing Chip: (Is it worth it?)
See above.

Good luck.
