What would it take to bring a Type R into the 12's???

Hey guys,
I'm planning on getting a Type R before summer time,and i'd like to know how hard will it be for me to bring the car into the low 13's high 12's (1/4 mile)?? Obviously ALL MOTOR mods,no turbo and no nitrous.And about how much i'm i gonna have to spend approximatly to get it to do those times??

I would guess about 200-210 whp and slicks!

Look in tuning, and look at their set up. The '97 runs 12's N/A

I don't mind a turbo type R when fully built. Jon will be fully built and same thing for MikeC5

I don't like turbo type R with stock internals.

c pas tof de mettre un type R dans le 12....fait oversize pis pistons hautes compression, P&P,...

I can't beleive my eyes!! A couple of months ago a turbo type r was "sacrilège"! What happened to "ITR's are n/a beast, these are racetrack cars not drag cars!"

It still is s sin to have a Turbo ITR

One thing is for sure though,i'm not turboing the car

un jai jamais dis ca.. 2, avoir un char qui a la puisance pour rouler du 12 veut pas nécésarement dire que t'en fait un char de draqg :S

C'est sur que ca reste un opinion mais j'ai de la misère à comprendre le but de ne pas rester N/A avec une ITR quand le moteur au complet à été concus pour être N/A...et surtout que l'integra type R à été concus pour la TRACK et non pour le DRAG donc aussi bien rester N/A.

Y'a juste trop de choses à changer, aussi bien y aller avec une GSR ou une LS pour un set-up turbo.
