To shave or not to shave?

Hi,

Well, I'll be taking my car to a friend's body shop pretty soon and would like to hear other people's opinions on shaving the 3rd brake light on a 240sx fastback. I did this on my last 240sx and thought it provided a cleaner looking hatch. I wasn't even thinking of doing it to my car now but since it's going to the body shop and I gotta fix a small rust spot starting there anyways, why not?

So, to shave or not to shave... that is the question...

hmm... yea i forgot about the legalities of it all...

but i drove my 1st 240 around like that for 3 years :dunno:
 
I say no shave, I like the 3rd brake light, but the wing and wiper are eye sores. That's why I took them off! lol
 
hmm... keeping the 3rd brake light but shaving the wiper sounds pretty good actually... especially since i won't be winter driving the car no more :)
 
not every cop knows that this 15 year old car suppose to have 3rd brake light i mean what thats all they do all day? look what cars have it and wich dont??...ide say shave it
 
Shave the wiper, leave the brake light there, unless you want to add one inside the hatch. It would suck to get pulled over just for that.
