hard shifter

the shifter is really tough to move, it works but people say wow everytime the try to use it. some people need 2 hands to move it. it a 88 integra. and now when it is -40 outside it is initially tougher then returns to its normal hardness. what do i have to do to loosen it? or where do i grease it?

shift linkage underneith where the shifter connects to the shaft that changes the gears. loosen the nut and put a little grease on the bushing. that should help. if that doesnt work are you sure you have enough tranny fluid in the transmission???? maybe its time to check and put some new oil in!

Change your tranny oil for sytec oil ! It's better than the normal one and it's also smooter
