Comment ne pas se faire avoir!

Bon je suis en train de regarder pour un spec v...je sais quils ont des problemes de pre cath et tout le kit.Est ce quil y a un moyen d etre SUR que le probleme est regler et a ete regle a temps avant dacheter un spec v??Si par exemple jen trouve un dans mes prix..comment je fais pour etre sur que le gars ne me ments pas...sil as pas chagne de moteur 2 fois...ou sil a changer de headers toute suite apres avoir switcher le moteur?
 
checker le # de série du moteur. Normalement, ils sautent tous a - de 70 000km... meme si tu leur fait attention.
 
Amène la ché nissan et demande leur de te sortir un rapport d'entretien. L'inspection elle même devrait pouvoir l'indiquer aussi.

J imagine quils le plug sur l ordi??Parce que jadore cette voiture..et en plus des performances plus que raisonables...pour le prix c est du bonbon.Seule chose comme je dis qui me retient c est ca...la fiabilite.
 
Comment peuvent ils etre SUR et certain que le moteur sautera pas???JADORE ce char la mais jai vraiment la chienne que ca me coute un moteur!!

je savais pas que les QR25 avait une réputation de sauter ... moi qui a toujours qui c'Est un moteur de marde et une des pires erreurs de nissan ...
 
After my short block was changed at 10000km*td* I immediately got rid of the cause....by getting a header I eliminated the problem of re-occuring. Ever since no problems, no burning oil no more issues.*tu*

PS If you get a 2003 you will reduce your chances of the same problem and get a better gear ratio in the trany:D

Oh yeah??How so??Car has been slightly modified in 03?Well the problem still remains...you just cant be sure that the problem was solved even if theres a new engine in it..A buddy of mine at work is supposed to have a 8000km engine and its already starting to eat massive amount of oil..He bought the car at an independant dealer and he also bought a garanty.

I think Im gonna shop for something else but I dunno what to buy for a 15-17k budget. I wanted something powerful...not too much milleage (below 90 000kms) so I was looking at some spec vs...but now that I ear all these engines are eating oil like a mother...Hey I got a civic that does this job(eating oil), I dont wanna get into that same shit.
 
Je viens de regarder certains threads sur nissan performance et je dois dire qu un spec v...ca fait peur en estie!C est ecoeurant comment yont eu des problemes ec ce char la!!!Moi qui en voulait tellement un jpense jvais en faire mon deuil...
 
The message was that the 2003's will reduce the chances (not eliminate) of having the same problem and getting a better tranny.
For the rest put a header on it and eliminate the pre-cat. I have mine know for almost 5 years...since the change at 10000kms and header placement no oil burning issues.
I'll be honest there were two other recalls one for floor mats (possibly getting stuck under the accel) and an electrical box liner (could catch fire if). Ever since that I put my mods in and have had no other problems....all fun an games:bigup:

Mais c est ce que je te dis...Moi je je veux en acheter une usagee. Que le moteur soit change ou non et ce avec le header change ou non...quest ce qui me dit que le gars a qui je vais l acheter y essaye pas dse debarasser de son probleme?C est pour ca que je dis ca!

Va voir Manoir Nissan a Repentigny...demande pour le Mecano Daniel Martel, il y a aussi un mec Daniel au Service, c'est ce dealer qui s'occupe d'une bonne gang de SpecV modifier (ainsi que la mienne) donc que je connais personellement. Mr. Martel peut tout te dire sur les SpecV et peut te pointer dans la bonne direction donc problematique ou positifs pour ton achats.
