Datsun Pickup Swaps

Hey all,
I was wondering if anybody had any info on swapping CA18ET or CA18DET engines into a 1981 (same model from 79 to 82 I think) Datsun Pickup... I beleive it's a L20B. Can I reuse the pickup transmission? Will a CA crossmember bolt in?

Not sure about those, but I know the early 90's Nissan Hard body's came with the KA24E, so an semi-educated, partially drunk, half assed guess would tell you that the SR20DET would be a fairly easy swap.

Then again, putting 200HP+ in a solid rear axel mini-pickup that was never designed to go fast in the first place is maybe not the best idea.

ya.. this engine is only about 160hp, and the old engine is an l20b not a ka24e
 
actually now i think its an L16..
does anybody know about l-series to CA-series swaps? datsun 510 guys maybe?
