the civic si hatch was only made in 92-93? what about 94-95. how come they stopped making them?

honda canada had bad sales on the hatch si because people who bought the hatch back then, were folks who were looking for a cheap car and they didn't give a damn about the sportier engine & suspension. So honda Canada stopped selling the hatch si in 93. only the coupe was available in si trim. In the U.S. though they kept the si hatch till 95. the 96-00 hatch model never had si. Only now as the hatch come back with a little muscle with the SIR but, it's ugly like a mutha****a.
