A rare yet amazing car, the Silvia is a car that has caught my eye kinda recently. The problem is that I'm all mixed up as to the history of this car. I need somebody to sort of outline it all. I know that there is an s13,s14,s15 maybe more? What's the difference here and how do those models relate to the production years. I would also like to know precisely what the production years were. I know that the silvia was essentially a subset of the 240sx. Was there a regular 240sx being sold in the same time period?
This is all very confusing for me because a lot of times you find guys who have done all kinds of conversions. Thanks guys

s10 silvia - 1976-1979 - L18
s11 silvia - 1980-1983 - Z18, Z20
s12 silvia - 1984-1987 - CA18, CA18ET, FJ20, FJ20ET
s13 silvia - 1989-1993 - CA18DE, CA18DET, SR20DE, SR20DET
s14 silvia - 1994-1998 - SR20DE, SR20DET
s15 silvia - 1999-2002 - SR20DE, SR20DET

You say it's an amazing car, yet you know nothing about it, why is it amazing? Because everyone else thinks so? Tool.

Did you know that some silvia had a rotary engine ?

alright alright my bad ... im no specialist on japanese cars .. all that info i got was off a site .. just trying to help him out

First of all when i said it was an amazing car I meant it mostly from a styling point of view. Not only that, I was also referring to silvia's i have read about; the ones running 10's. I'll admit that i worded that badly. Besides, the history of this car is pretty complex to say the least so please forgive me.
