sr20det temp problem

hey guys. i had a little problem with my car last week (fire). and now the temp guage isn't working. can anyone point me in the right direction? where is the sensor located? any help would ne appreciated.thanks

Maybe the fire burned through some wiring?

yeah it did, but i fixed all the wiring that was damaged and now the guage still wont work? that's why i need to know where else to look.
