Estimate? I've gone to body shops, dealerships, all have quoted me ridiculous prices.

Your looking at around $800.00-1000.00. You have to re-paint the whole door and the whole bumper to match the paint perfectly.

I'm pretty much screwed. The driver side door, my neighbor hit my parked car and gave me 300$ cash.

And as for the bumper, I went to see AutoMagik and they quoted me 125$.

So I'm looking for something around 300-400$ for the driver door.

I got a 475$ quote from a body shop close to my house, but he's a Volvo specialist, I don't know how it will turn out.

Yup, he got you good dude .....

Honestly to properly repair that door, you would almost need a new skin!
(which btw is what any good garage would quote you for, or if the insurance would pay to a professional repair shop)

You do have easily a $800. to $1000. job here for a complete reparation.

You've got major waves in at least three different places that panel, plus the reinforcement is also propably bent, which if not straightened will give the door a tinny sound once repaired. Not to mention the fact that if they repair this door with plastic (putty) it will mostlikely crack in a few years, due to vibration as the panel is rather large.

I doubt you will be long term satisfied with a $300-400 repair....I know I wouldn't be!

-as for the bumper spot repair, $125 is a good price for a cash deal, though personally I'm not exactly a fan of Auto-magic.

automotion.

*td* *td* , not unless you're bringing them a big job you'll get lousy results. my friend brought his '04 sentra there for similar damages and 6 months later his paint is cracking and spiders are showing up all over the newly painted bumpers, not to mention bad color matching...automotion is not recommened unless you drive a skyline or equivalent of sorts...

autoimages in laval, bring it to him and show it to him so he can give you a proper quote, the quality of work is amazing for the price, but you might have to wait a week before getting it in.

I agree 100% with you. I had bad experiences at Automotion.

You could try Autosport Concept in Laval (450-967-1749), they did a great body job (and I'm a freak when it comes to bodywork) on a friend's car. And I always go there for anything for my car. Really reasonable prices too. Tell them Nadim sends you.
