Y do VCD's Dont work on PS2

Lately i discovered how to turn any movie from my PC to VCD wich works on almost any dvd player. But on my PS2 it doesn't I heard the DVD player on the PS2 is very cheap on the Xbox vcd's work could someone answer me plz

try to make it play with a GameShark it may work.... but for playing a VCD isn't a question if the DVD is cheap or not... only deppend if the supplier want to support it in his player...

another exemple.... i just bought a HIGH-END Home Theather with one of my friend... he bought a 700$ Toshiba DVD Player..... he doesn't support MP3 Playback does that mean it's a cheap player ??? cause some shit company give the MP3 Feature in a 150$ DVD..... feature doesn't mean quality at all....
