bonjour je vais recevoir mon gtr prochainement et je me pausais certaine question sur le taux d'octane. J'ai lu ca sur GTRcanada et je me demandais si c'étais fiable

je suis sceptique que l'indice d'octane varie d'un endoite à lautre si cest le cas cest a cause des unitées... mais peu probable...

RON c'est le research octane number alors que MON c'est le motor octane number

c'est 2 facon differente de tester l'essence , le MON est un test plus severe qui est plus revelant sur les propriete du gaz surtout pour savoir si il resiste bien lorsqu'il y a beaucoup de boost

ya pas de loi qui dit que si le gaz a X RON il va avoir Y MON , sa depend de l'Essence
exemple du toluol a 120-124RON et 110-112MON alors que du premium au states a 96RON et 86MON (ce qui explique pourquoi du toluol blender avec autre chose peut faire du bon gaz pour gros du boost)
le best c'est de s'informer a la compagnie mais du petro 94 sa fait la job dans une skyline.

EDIT : si je me trompe pas ici on est rater en PON , qui est egale a (RON+MON)/2
ce qui explique pourquoi du super est appeler du 91 ..... (96+86)/2 = 91

est-ce que mettre du 91 peut faire bucker le char? pcq la jai mis du 91 pis si jtorche sur lautoroute cé pas fluide.....mettre du 94 peut t-il arranger le probleme?
 
mettre du 94 va empirer le problème. Je sais pas où t'as eu l'idée qu'un meilleur taux d'octane augmenterait tes performances mais c'est tout le contraire. Le taux d'octane ralenti ton point de combustion, si ton auto est fait pour un taux d'octane X, en mettant un niveau plus haut tu va causer des combustions à retardement.

Les SKyline sont faites pour du 94, monter va pas empirer le probleme. C'est sur les Golf pis des Civic stock que monter l'octane va ralentir le moteur.
