there is also a supercharger available for this car i believe. stick in a pulsar engine im pretty sure they fit.

300 hp is variable, depends on some things (read boost).
That gotta be a good value since a B18C makes around 360 ponies with a setting that creates moderate lag.
(and more than 400 ponies on a sr20de)
With a centrigugal supercharger, a B16 makes around 275 ponies.

when you say big gain, what is it ?!?
turbo or supercharger is big gain (at least 40% but it's 5K$)

either one as long as i get a good amount of hp power out of it..... does anyone know how reliable this engine becomes when u put a supercharger or turbo on it...i know as soon as u but one or other ur engine becomes less reliable but some more then others

mmmmmmmm, dunno about reliability but something tells me that if the turbo/setting is appropriate for the engine, reliability wont be a problem :D

I dont know if JWT has cracked the 2000 Maxima ECU or not, but if they did reliability shouldnt be a problem at all.

Just have JWT reprogram and ECU for you to your specs and it'll be as realiable as stock.
Unless you play with the boost :)

Reliability becomes a problem with ANY mod, it's just a matter of taking the proper precautions to prevent those issues.

Well there are exceptions you know.

I didint encounter any reliability issues with my Custom CAI.
or my Full Cat-back, or even my Short-shifter.

Somethings to come WILL require caution though for example :

A Header doesnt seem like much, but its sure to trigger the Service engine light on my car and I'll have to deal with it appropriatly.

But if we talk about forced induction, it should always be approched with lots of preperation and caution.

will it light the check engine or other cars ??

Depends.

Problem on my car is concerning an 02 sensor, which has to be moved, because I have a Pre-CAT in my exhaust manifold.

Even a custom CAI in some cars will cause a problem. Some cars are setup with very sensitive sensors, that even the slightest change in air flow/fuel pressure/spark could set it off. But then again some cars were too restrictive in the first, and in that case can only benefit from certain mods. Although let me re-phrase what I said, 'reliabilty could potentially become an issue with any mod.

Your right I admit, the potential is always there.

Fortunatly with Nissans we are lucky. MAF sensor eliminates lots of potential problems.

JWT = Jim Wolf Technologie

They specialise in Nissan, thats all they do.

They are known for their modifying ECU's but do all sorts of other things, like CAMS and motor mounts....

Actually, they are so good, you just call them up with whatever mod you've done, Turbo, biger injectors, SR20DET Swap, SR20VE
etc... and they'll make a custom chip for you that will be reliable and bulletproof. No chance of blowing things up, unless you play with boost too much.

Thats why the nissan community swears by JWT.
Even some ppl from Europe order their stuff.

kool im going to check them out becuz i probably going to get the stillen supercharger this summer....nice so there gonna be a project 4 me
