injector cleaner, good or bad?

yea just a question, i was lookin at injector cleaners and was wonderin if its ne good or does it cause more damage than anything?, this would be for my sr20det, seems to me like it would just push more crud into the engine? but the engine would burn this up no?, neways, should i or should i not! thanks, btw im talking about those bottles u put in your gas tank

old engine and its just that it got my attention, i saw a bottle on the shelf at petro canada and i was like hmm, maybe that can be a good simple maintenance sorta thing i could do(cheap also) but yea i had my doubts, basically cheap crap that i dont need to buy :bigup:

That stuff doesn't do anything. It'll keep your injectors clean, but it won't clean them if they are dirty. To clean them you need a real cleaning at a shop, costs around 90-100$.
