Question about Photoshop and resizing/printing photos

ok so its pretty simple what i wanna do, but im just not sure how.

theres a pshop file that i have (a picture obviously) and its 4.3" x 3".

now i wanna go to walmart or future shop to print this pic while keeping the same dimensions on photo paper. now would i just save it as a psd? pdf? jpeg? :dunno:

help would be appriciated...thanks!

Well... this would fit on a 4"x6" paper (in paysage).

1) Rotate the picture so it becomes 3" x 4.3"
2) Rezise the canvas to 4" x 6"

Save as JPEG higest quality and go to future shop (or send the picture online with their little application).

get ACDSee... so much easier with that program.

you need to figure out the size of the picture in pixels. size in inches is irrelivant unless youve specified DPI.

you need to print at 300DPI so if you want 4"X6" you will need a picture at 1200px*1800px

save it as a maximum rez jpg, and send that.
