does the auto tranny from an s13 (USDM) depend on the ECU for anything? for instance, would i be able to swap in a KA24DE in place of KA24E, and take the ECU from the KA24DE with a manual trans, and put it into this car which has an auto tranny?

To swap in a Twin Cam,you have to change the KA24e ECU to a KA24de ECU,
and to just swap it manuel,you also have to change the ECU....:D
 
i know to swap a ka24e to a ka24de you need to change the ecu, just wasnt sure about the tran. thanks :)
