as some of u may know i got robbed, anyways i am getting approximatly $1200 back from my insurance

i have to go to JD audio to buy everything

anywasy any ideas what i could buy
i am looking for a sub amp and a stereo

this is my plan

pioneer deh-6400 stereo
JL 12 Wo
and maybe a ppi amp

what you guys think??
 
not bad. I would consider making the box myself though. It would save you that much more money. The cost of the materials are almost nothing, and at least you can say you built it. Same goes for the install.

$1200 aint bad to start though, you can get some decent stuff, but don\t forget, you do have other speakers in the car. Get a nice set of front comps, and put a nice amplifier to them, it'll make all the difference.

oh, btw the sub amp alone, that I want costs $1600, but I can pull it off at cost @ JDs, but it's still $1150! Well, I'll have it soon enough.
 
Good idea on the custom install,

as for the speakers i have some decent ones already
infinity reference in the back and kappa in the front, as for the amp, i was also cocidering the amp

my insurance is giving me a check to JD car stereo

get 3 x 10" JL w6 with a 1000w ppi amp...

buy your head unit used somewhere and dynomat your panels ...your car will shake the block !!

don't buy sony or orion (JD happens to carry lots of that)

whats the model number on that amp? PCX-1500??????

2 channel -600w RMS ppi
with 3 10inch W6's in my friend civic hatch--> blows away my eclipse system...

Eclipse 200w rms -400peak
2 - 12" Eclipse DVC subs
Eclpise signal processer Eclipse equalizer
clarion motorized 6" lcd screen (hidden) hehe
and 7" in dash Eclipse LCD

ok, ok, the 7inch screen isn't installed yet ...but it will be WHEN I GET MY CAR BACK FROM SAAB !!
 
Like i said guys i got screwed buying my stuff at JD car stereo

i am still waiting for the check and i am thinking of buying a new car , but i still have to sell mine

so i wont buy anything until i get my new car

the 1500 is 500w @ 4ohms, 1000w @ 2ohms

I just bought a PCX-4125 its coming this week, cant wait to get it !!!
