I'm a complete detailing noob but I decided i'm going to give it a shot. I see I can buy a porter cable polisher at CT but where can I buy all the right pads and products?

I checked the website of WaxOn WaxOff but they don't carry any. What's up with that?

You won't find any pads in any of the stores here in Montreal. You will find some wool and some oversized foam pads at crazy prices at Carquest normally for bodyshops that need to do paint correction, thats about it...detailing or jewelling the paint is still relatively new here in Quebec !

What kind of products or pads do you need ?, I have products and white polishing pads I can sell you.

My 4" 3M knockoff backplate with a 4" white pad on my Hitachi. Hardcore detailers will appreciate this, a 5" 3M backplates costs $69us !

At autogeek you have foam pads and all kind off bundle kits for better prices shipping is around $23.95 and ask the to ship via Usps so you do not pay ups brokerage fees which are 40$ plus customs .

CT sells it for too expensive.. plus if you wait they'll put it at 50% off like anything else on the store.

I get my stuff from 3 different locations and I'll be buying some stuff from waxonwaxoff too.

could you suggest a list of equipment to do a basic detailing? Preferably accessible in stores here in Montreal?
