Is it poss.to install ford mach460 c/d in my car

question if is it possible to install a 1995 am/fm c/d mach 460 radio
in my 1993 areostar van with-out costing a bundle or am i better
off to just buy a new c/d player ???
<<note that this "free"was taken out of my sisters mustang,i have
the plugs <cutoff>but nothing else of the system>>:dunno:
 
sure it is possible but you would have to get the deck out board amp's (3 of them I think) and the speakers and wiring harness..
personally I don't think that it is worth it, it might sound good in a little mustang but in a big open Aerostar??? it might be a differn't story, just go after market.
 
tks for the advise, i figured as much that with-out the amps and speekers,that it would-not work,but it never hurts to ask ....
could of been low buck way to upgrade though ...
anybody want a radio ?
 
Do you have the tape deck and the CD player that goes below it? Let me know..I may be interested!:) You are better off going aftermarket since you can get a nice CD deck for cheap these days.
 
Unfortunatly its not that unit,this is a single cd in dash cd tuner.
