need some help...

Hi,i'm new to the BMW scene and i'll need some help...
I'll sell my crx(nicely tuned, but getting tired of big spoilers and rice rockets...u know what i mean)So i'm plannig to buy a 1992 serie3 BMW. I really dont know in what i'm gettin into so that's why i need your help I saw a 325 I price tagged 10 995$ on occasion.ca... i don't really want to pay much then this cuz i want to put chrome wheels and drop it a little bi for this summert...Anyway you got the picture!

Any help for what to look for and what i should not touch would be really nice...

ok but seriously a bmw that as been well taken care of at 200 000 km is better then one at 120 000km that was treaten like shit,,, soo get it checked before!!!!!!!!1

Ummm bmw parts are pretty expensive
and if ure going to mod a bmw i hope u got the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

Dont know what to do man...is dropping a 92 series is expensive? will it be reliable or i'll always put money on it?
