Paint flaking and metal exposed

Around the fender, I have about an inch of paint flaking and it's down to the metal. I don't have a garage nor an indoor parking that I can work in.

What can I do for now to prevent it from rusting or from flaking more?

Bring it to the dealer, I don't see why it would not be covered. Your A4 is like almost new.
 
Ya, I know. Don't really have the time to pass by the dealer.

I just put some grease on it for now.
 
Once it starts to flake, there's nothing much you can do.

Don't worry, it will not rust. VW/Audi metal sheet are heavily galvanized. You can let it bare metal for a year and you won't see rust at all.
 
Was the spot impacted ?, cause that is usually the sign of flaking.

Just put some grease on the spot for now till it warms up outside.
