Body SHop quesiton

Alright so some bastard backed into my car, and bumper, side panel and light have to be changed.All of this be covered my insurance....Now im getting this all done from Honda. So i wanna find a way so that i can tell the body shop to buff and detail my car when they replace the side panel and bumper. Anyone done this B4? or know a way i can tell them to do this.

Just ask them they'll do it, but i don't know how mutch they will charge you

the thing is i dont wanna pay from my pocket, i want them to try to incorporate the price of buffing into the price of changign and paintign the bumper ...Knaaa mean?

Well they will buff up the area around it, but not the entire car. Its labour intensive and takes a while to do it right. There is no way they will detail the HOOD for a rear end collision, unless you pay them for the detailing.

Also Bootrix is right, I wouldn't make the insurance pay until its over 2000$. If your premiums go up, for the amount of time it will take to come back down isn't worth it.
