I love the G rides.
Personnaly I kicks butt compared to the 1.7el
When I see a 1.7el all I think about is civic. Doesnt look refined in any way, form or shape.
The G20 on the other hand, looks way better, probably has all the same options as the 1.7el and has more power, better handling Im sure, and Limited-Splip Diff.
Though I dont know about prices, Id have to look that up.
BTW, buddy of mine is selling his G.
