wtb: parts for windstar

Hi guys,

my dad just got himself a 1999 windstar with a fried transmission.
So here i am wondering if anyone has a spare to sell?

if no, does anyone know if i can use another trany or engine/trany combination in that car?

I can probably get you one, but It takes up to 6 hours to get out of the vehicle... so I'm thinking 600$ for just the tranny itself, delivered.

what if i come and remove it myself?

$600 is a good price, but for that price i can get another windstar about the same year. Just don't want the hastle of figuring out what to do with it later, once i remove the transmission.

my dad got the van for free just 75$ for registration, and it would not be profitable to spend 600 on it, it would be easier to send it to scrap lol.

if you do find a whole van, remove it and I'll tow away whats left for free.
I'll check what the local scrap yard wants for one already removed, if available.

i'm now in process of taking the trany out to see what is broken inside, and will see, maybe will rebuilt it.
