About a month ago the head gasket blew on my dad's 01 nissan sentra (automatic), and i recently had it repaired (holy guacamole was that expensive). Anyways, im driving the car back to my place (father is away for a while, so he left the car at my house) and everything seems fine until i hit the highway, im trying to get up to speed to merge in, but the car has almost no power above 80-90kmh, it took me like 10 seconds to get to 110, and forget about 120. At lower speeds the engine feels normal, no missing, no weird noises, everything is fine. So i brought it back to my mechanic with the issue, he tested the fuel system and found that the fuel regulator was faulty (running lean), so that was changed, now fuel pressure is perfect. But the problem remains, he checked for a clogged cat, but its fine too. He checked the ECU, its fine aswell, theres no codes\errors coming out. He also checked the o2 sensor, its fine aswell.
Anyone have ANY ideas what could be causing this?
