When you paint a Lexus SC430 you cannot say you did a good job if you masked everything off instead of removing all the parts.
A good paintjob means removing all the weatherstripping, headlights, door handles, fog lights, etc, otherwise the paint will inevitably start flaking away since it doesn't stick well to the rubber seals around most of these parts. You'd also be suprised of how much hidden rust you will find in these areas. Within a year or two your car looks like shit again.
And an A to Z restoration on the Lincoln, damnit man at least take the damn door handles and lock cylinder out...
En meme temps je comprends que le probleme est souvent le client et pas la shop, ca coute plus cher tout strippé donc les clients souvent opte pour payer moi cher et juste tout faire masquer.
La job a l'air belle, mais je suis vraiment de l'ecole de tout strippé avant de peinturer, sinon ca commence a chier apres quelques mois deja...
