I tried for 45 minuites to put my 3 dyno graphs in
but i cant do it.(please help)
B16A: MAX HP 164.3 MAX TORQUE 109.1
B18C5: MAX HP 179.7 MAX TORQUE 129.7 (CTR)
B18C :MAX HP 189.8 MAX TORQUE 139.0(JTR)

All readings are at the wheels and are in SAE
The CTR peak hp is at 8100 rpm torque at 6200
The JTR peak hp is at 7900 rpm torque at 6100
but at 6000 rpm jtr has 160 hp and 139 torque
compared to ctr 144 ph and 125 torque
This is due to the HONDATA tuned P-28 ECU.


When someone explains to me how to enter

I don't think that Type R block is stock with 189 to the wheels. I bet you have some kind of cams in there for sure (not calling you a liar, but you never know what you buy for sure). By the way do you still want that GSR swap, you never called me. My number again (450)671-3892 and don't call after 9 pm. Good numbers by the way. What mods where on the B16??? That's real good numbers for a NA b16.

Those are impressive numbers, those engines must be mounted perfectly in those cars!!

i never wanted to buy your gsr????
i have a b16a2 in my car why would i want a gsr
i think its stock beside racing head etc.... no cam
he told me that his jspec b18c would push around 175whp stock!1

The B16A motor had a stock bottom end
but the head is a 95 GSR with lost of type r
goodies. I was using a custom intake manifold.
The power band was very high. It didnt really
start to pull till about 7000 rpm.The HP peaked
at 9000 rpm. We ported the head and used
tyre r computer but had to go with a re programed
HONDATA P-28 to be able to rev the motor up to
9500 rpm.

I do think the jap spec type r is stock, dont forget
the computer has been reprogrammed(HONDATA)
the canadian type r ran on the dyno with a 99
type r computer.

LaminaR X, I'll be waiting for your call. I was just wondering. I have a 91 Integra RS and was thinking of doing a swap but not sure because of the weight of the car, is it worth it (in your opinion) to do a swap in this car or should I just try to sell it and buy a civic (like everybody else)??? I would like to keep my Integra because it's different but if it weighs much more than a civic, I'll just get a civic (90 91 EF). I'm thinking B16 head with CRV block (already have both) with 00 Sir tranny (sir internals in my 91 casing) with a twin pressure plate clutch and a nice nitrous setup (60 hp single fogger wet manifold) till I can save up some more money for forged pistons and rods so I can put my turbo kit on (I have acces to a Advance EFI kit real cheap that I will buy off my friend). What do you thing this setup would run with and without the nitrous on slicks??? I know it depends on driver but just a guess. (not asking the times with the turbo setup just with the nitrous and motor)

My estimate on your times would be
13.80@98 mph on motor and with
nitrous 13.20@105mph.

Of course if that setup was in a civic
you could drop 6 tenth on both counts

Is that going in your CRX??? If so, I think it's going to be very fast but I figure you'll be hitting the same numbers as you are now because your Type R motor is putting out close to that power. I figure you got 189 at the wheels so that figures out to around 218 hp to the wheels but you'll have more torque so I don't know.

Hey LaminaR X, sorry about the mix up with the engine but that's why I told you to call at 4 to talk to Peter. He's the big boss there that's responsible for selling swaps like that. Hope it didn't cause you to much trouble. Sorry again.

Ok I'll check this afternoon but whe did buy a 93 Si last week so I'm pretty sure whe still have it. I'll come back to you on Monday with it and with a price.
