Coop Norway and Platekompaniet remove violent video games from store shelves after the terrorist attacks in Oslo and Utøya last week.

We have made our assessments of each department, and removed various games around, confirming product manager and please play responsibly in Albums, André Holt, said.

Persons charged with terrorist Anders Behring Breivik writes in his so-called manifesto that he was playing "World of Warcraft" for one year.

In the interests of the events Friday, Coop Norway revoked violent computer games and weapons like this indefinitely, says Geir Inge Stokke rogalandsavis.no .

- This is a temporary grip we do out of respect and in respect for those affected, said Stokke.

Elektronikkjeden Spaceworld has not cleared any products from their stores.

- We can not see any connection between the tragic has happened and the fact that we sell games. We have never seen any research on that game alone has led to such incidents, says marketing manager Carl Haakon Klafstad said.

Next will be Call Of Duty.
Norway Suspect Used Call of Duty to Train for Massacre:

It’s been awhile since video games have been blamed on a tragedy. But the recent terrorist attack in Oslo, Norway that killed at least 93 people has been directly linked to a pair of Activision Blizzard video games by the killer, himself.

In his 1,500 page manifesto, "2083: A European Declaration of Independence,” terror suspect Anders Behring Breivik writes in detail about how he used Activision’s Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 game and Blizzard Entertainment’s World of Warcraft game to help him prepare for the attack. Eighty-five people were killed when Breivik allegedly gunned down campers at an island retreat disguised as a law enforcement officer and an additional seven were killed from a bomb he allegedly set off at a government building in the capital.

Moves like this are retarded and initiated by people with the need to do something, anything, to feel like they're making a difference. The games they removed been sitting in the store collecting dust for years. Loads of games you don't even have to buy in the store anymore, just buy the digital copy on-line. Waste of time, but now some turd sleeps better thinking he/she changed the world.

They who can give up essential liberty (haha play WOW) to obtain a little temporary safety, deserve neither liberty nor safety.
