driveshaft

do you have to change driveshaft when you change engines ? cuz i've had a swap made on my 93 civic for a b18c and the guy swapped the gsr driveshaft into my civic. is this standard procedure or what ? the driveshaft he swapped in didn't work, he said it was to short and now i have to wait till thuesday for spare parts stores to open. the car was rattling like @#%$ !!!!! you really felt it in the floor.

Yah the shakiness during accelerations comes from the driveshafts being the incorrect length. I have that problem on mine (I put rebuilt ones in, not perfect length)... You probably need GSR axles, and he probably put in your original axles for the time being.
