Where's a good place to buy stereo equipment

Well this should be in the audio forum. But, it all depends on what your looking for. What brands? if you don't know, what kind of sound you looking for? Big boom, or more for a loud sound quality? Buying audio is never easy. And especially when it comes to car audio, you get what you pay for. So beware!

Give a little more info on what you want. And if your willling to do any kind of custom work inside the car. Also, it's good to know if it's going to be strictly for audio, or are you eventually going to do a full multimedia setup? (it makes a difference, you can save yourself some work later on by answering this question). Another thing to consider is not skimping when it comes to the size of your power wire. That way when you add extra amps, or put in a bigger one, you don't have to pull everything apart again to rewire!
