Installing an SSD

Hi guy so I just bought an SSD and I was just wondering if all I have to do is install windows on it and change the boot sequence from my HDD to my SSD ? If I leave windows on my old HDD, will I have to choose which OS I want to boot on everytime I turn my pc on ?

Make sure your motherboard is set to AHCI, plug the SSD on Port 0, change hard drive boot order to the SSD, install Windows on it. That's it.
