Anyone else unable to logon to Steam?

I wanted to check out their holiday specials, found Dead Island at 66% off (like 7$) but I can't login to purchase, it just hangs there. I tried from my gaming PC and although the Steam client logs in properly and I can add the item to my cart, when I go to purchase it just skates there forever and eventually gives an "unexpected error" error.

Anyone?

Everything fine here, i too bought dead island on special . Good deal.

Yeah by the next day it was back normal and I bought it.
