Help me understand why I have some window condensation. This happens only in winter when it is cold in the 2nd floor, and when it is very very cold in the basement.
The windows are fairly new (4-5 years old), and are those energy efficient double windows.
The condensation does not happen between the windows but just on the interior side, which I can clean daily and wipe excess water, but it would be nice to know the exact cause. I called a guy that does deembuation de fenetre and he told me this is something else.
House does not have any air exchanger or thermo pompe, 2nd floor roof vent is also sealed. Heating is electric baseboard and humidity is ~40% (drops a bit in winter).
Thanks
