avatar question - gif

i keep gettin an error for 5 kb... some peoples avatars who are .gif are larger than 5 kb. I tried to change my avatar to theirs but I get the same 5 kb problem. Is there a way to get around it?

The limit should be 20K. Are you still having a prob?

My limit is still at 4.9k. Is that normal?

no one responded to my thread for a long time and i forgot about this thread, so sorry for no reply... ill re try the gif when i get home and ill write back.
